Carandial Campsite

Carandial Campsite is an unmarked campsite northwest of Bravil occasionally occupied by a local mage.

It is west of the Ayleid ruin Anutwyll. The site consists of a tent with a bedroll, two stools, a lit campfire, and a chest containing one or two random healing potions. The camp also offers convenient access to the Ayleid Well near the ruin. The site is fairly overgrown, with ferns partly concealing the tent and a large pine tree next to the chest, although the campfire makes the camp more conspicuous. A green stain cup plant grows out in the open halfway to the Larsius River, with two mandrake plants around a nearby rock, while three nightshade plants are downhill from the camp near the walls of the Ayleid ruin. The entire city of Bravil can be seen from the site, along with the bridge marking the spot where the Green Road turns south toward Leyawiin.

Carandial at his camp

The camp was set up by Carandial, a local mage from the Bravil Mages Guild, who refers to himself as a "student of our Aldmeri ancestors, the Ayleids." On the 2nd and 16th of each month, he arrives at the site and lives in the camp for two days, occasionally visiting and studying Anutwyll. It is possible for him to be killed by the respawning enemies there.
