Anthelmir

Anthelmir is a Wood Elf member of the Recollection that serves as the second boss of Oathsworn Pit, along with her Construct. Maerolor is her boyfriend.

Skills and Abilities

Devastating Flare

A basic ranged attack dealing moderate flame damage.

Blazing Strike

Basic melee attack dealing moderate-high flame damage

Scorching Hammer

Charged melee attack dealing very high flame damage.

Heat Blast

Anthelmir slams her staff on the ground, causing a massive explosion around her, indicated by a very large red circle. The initial blast deals very high flame damage and flames linger on for a while after, dealing continuous low flame damage. While Anthelmir is in the lingering flames, she gains a ward that makes her invulnerable in the form of a damage shield (Blast Furnace).

Blasted Shards

While in her ward, she performs this ability. She points her staff forward, blasting targets with repeated fireballs, dealing moderate flame damage each.

Combustion

Anthelmir teleports from her current position, causing a detonation at both her starting and next positions, indicated by red circles, dealing moderate flame damage. She will often teleport near barrels to detonate them.

Kindlepitch Barrel

Kindlepitch barrels are scattered around the arena, which explode if fire from enemies makes contact with them. The resulting explosion deals immediate high flame damage, indicated by a red circle around them, and causes flames to linger for the rest of the fight, dealing continuous low flame damage.

Construct Transformation

When the construct reaches 70% health, both it and Anthelmir rush to the center of the arena and the construct plants one of its hands into the ground, causing the arena to shake. Shortly after, the head of a Malacath statue falls on top of the construct, causing the construct to fall over, landing on Anthelmir and killing her instantly. Afterward, the construct gets up, fortifies the statue head with vines, and gains new abilities.

Quest-Related Events

When you reach Anthelmir and her construct, Bazrag will be enraged that Anthelmir has mortally wounded Axeborn Khurga:

Anthelmir: "You cut me for the last time. Crush her!"

<Anthelmir's construct throws Axeborn Khurga against the wall.>

King Bazrag / Chief Bazrag: "Khurga!"

King Bazrag / Chief Bazrag: "You'll pay for that."

When combat begins:

Anthelmir: "We beat Khurga, we'll beat you."

During combat:

Anthelmir: "Die in the Lodge of the Axe!"

Anthelmir: "You're going to fight me for this Orc?"

When Anthelmir calls forth her construct:

Anthelmir: "Show them your real power, construct!"

Anthelmir: "Together we scour the pit of weakness."

Anthelmir: "Construct! To me!"

When she starts dropping flame aoes:

Anthelmir: "Flames, just for you."

Anthelmir: "All of you will burn!"

Anthelmir: "Cremation ruins meat, but it's fun!"

Anthelmir: "Have a taste of my fire."

If she defeats the party:

Anthelmir: "I should tell Aradros the Orc's dead."
